This notice describes the membership registry operated for SOCIÉTÉ DE LA CONVOITISE (SDC).

WHAT WE RECORD

We store your site-specific sign-in identifier, verified email, optional first name, permanent membership number, join and verification dates, signup source, and your marketing preference with dated consent records. The signup source is a short campaign label such as “instagram”, or “direct”; we do not store a full referring URL in the registry.

WHY WE USE IT

We use this information to verify membership, prevent duplicate accounts, issue your digital card, provide private access, and manage your preferences. Marketing emails require a separate, optional opt-in. Declining or withdrawing marketing consent does not affect membership.

VERIFICATION & ACCESS

Identity is verified through ChatGPT sign-in. Your registry email must match the email supplied by that authenticated account. Your own card and details require sign-in; the registry and exports require owner authorization. There is no public member directory.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

The site uses OpenAI Sites for hosting and authentication and Cloudflare D1 for persistent storage. Your information is processed through those services to operate the registry. No external email delivery service is connected. If one is added, this notice will be updated to identify it before delivery is enabled.

YOUR CHOICES

You can view your recorded email and membership details, change marketing consent, or delete your membership in your private member area. The same authenticated account is required. Do not submit someone else’s email address. Verification data comes from the account you sign in with.

DELETION & RETENTION

We retain registry details while your membership is active. The deletion control immediately removes your sign-in identifier, email, name, join and verification dates, source, and consent history from the active registry, along with any matching legacy waitlist entry. An unlinked record of the retired membership number and deletion time remains so numbers can never be reused. Deleted numbers cannot be restored.

Hosting logs and provider backups follow the providers’ retention schedules and may not disappear immediately when active records are deleted. An export previously downloaded by the owner is a separate copy; the owner is responsible for protecting and deleting those copies when required. The site does not retain copies of generated CSV downloads.

COOKIES & EXTERNAL RESOURCES

Platform authentication may use cookies for sign-in. This site adds no advertising tracker or marketing analytics cookie. Typography is requested from Google Fonts, which receives ordinary web request information such as your IP address when fonts are fetched.

MEMBERSHIP & COMMUNICATIONS

Your number is permanent for the lifetime of your membership. Numbers 1–100 receive founding status. Membership currently includes a digital card and private member area; future previews and early-access releases will appear when announced. It does not guarantee product availability or a purchase allocation. No welcome or marketing emails are automatically sent by the current site.
